Comic Cats #27: Malkatna
Malkana is a character from the most amazing comic series in the entire world, WoW Comics #1-6! I'm not biased at all, since I totally didn't write, draw, publish and distribute it... oh, wait, yes I did. I figured hey, as long as I'm making other people's comic book characters into cats, I might as well subject my own to the same treatment.

Comic Cats #26: XKCAT
This was far more fun to draw than it had any right to be. I'm always slightly confused whenever somebody says they can't make a comic because they can't draw, because, well, xkcd exists. xkcd is ALL stick figures all the time, has sold over 25,000 books of Volume 0, and used the funds to build a school in Laos. If you can make a mark on paper, you can make a comic, and maybe change the world for the better.
In other news, Comikitty has been printed, bound, and is now available for purchase in the store. Yay cat comics!

Comic Cats #25: Johnny Wandercat
Johnny Wander is a webcomic written by Ananth and drawn by Yuko Ota. I'd known of Ananth's writing from Applegeeks and Yuko's work from Fallen, so when I saw they were doing a webcomic together, I figured that whatever it was they decided to do would be automatically amazing. I was right!

#20 Playing Cats
I wonder why we didn't fight to be the well-adjusted, healthy cat with a loving family and financial stability. I guess that just didn't have enough dramatic tension and narrative potential to it. I forget what the problem with having two or more defects/enhancements on your cat was, but I do recall that it was a capital-P-Problem. Ahhh, the mysteries of youth.

Comic Cats #24: Will You Still Love a Cat
Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed is by my fellow native Bostonian Liz Prince. Even more exciting than knowing that there are comic book writers and artists getting their work published and receiving prestigious awards out there somewhere in the world is actually having met and talked to a local one. Very cool.
